Dear colleagues:

The GroupLens Research Group at the University of Minnesota is excited to recruit applicants for the President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, an opportunity to spend two years gaining research experience while preparing to emerge as strong candidates for tenure track positions, both at the University of Minnesota and worldwide.

This year, the University’s College of Science and Engineering is investing new funds for applicants who contribute to the, research, teaching, and service will contribute to the University of Minnesota’s and the College’s diversity mission and values. While the UMN PPFP defines diversity broadly, the emphasis of the CSE-PPFP partnership will be on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) candidates, and we strongly encourage such applicants.

The position comes with substantial benefits, including a competitive salary, a professional development budget, mentoring and support from the GroupLens and CSE communities and the PPF postdoc network at Minnesota.

GroupLens is looking to support applicants who complement or extend our interests in HCI and experimental social computing. You can learn more about us here: https://grouplens.org/ . Please contact one or more of us before October 21 if you are interested in this position.

You can find more information about the UMN PPFP at https://cse.umn.edu/ppfp and http://ppfp.umn.edu/
